PARTIES BY TERRYE is proud to be a family business, owned and operated by Terrye and Robert Grosshandler, along with their son, Andrew Grosshandler. They are based in Owings Mills, Maryland just outside of Baltimore. For the Grosshandlers, the party began in 1983 when Terrye introduced an entirely hands-on approach to entertaining at children’s birthday parties. Then a mother of two young boys herself, Terrye knew that the most lasting memories could be made when children were actual participants in the party and not just observers. With kids taking an active part, Terrye believed that party entertainment had the potential to be fun and, at the same time, meaningful as a growing tool. Her new business was founded on this philosophy.

PARTIES BY TERRYE quickly expanded its services to offer entertainment for children at company picnics, applying the same principles that Terrye used to design her unique birthday parties. With its hands-on combination of physical activities and arts and crafts projects, the Parties by Terrye recipe was proven to entertain children of all ages, whatever the event.

When Terrye’s husband, Robert, joined PARTIES BY TERRYE in 1993, he headed up the newly expanding event planning and decorations division of the company. In 2011, their son Andrew joined the party, officially making each event a true family affair!

Today, PARTIES BY TERRYE offers full-service event planning for practically any function, celebration or gathering. Over 30 years of experience in the party business in a multitude of varying aspects has armed Terrye, Robert and Andrew with a wealth of knowledge that makes them indispensable resources when planning any type of party. Their expertise is matched only by their creativity, which allows them to bring to life virtually any request and truly make each affair one-of-a-kind.

PARTIES BY TERRYE’S continued success is built on Terrye, Robert and Andrew’s commitment to each client’s individual needs. As every party has its own unique and distinctive elements, no two parties are ever approached in the same way. Terrye, Robert and Andrew are instrumental in the planning of each event and directly involved in the execution of all of its details. They are joined by a team of experienced and dynamic party leaders and décor specialists, as well as visual art and graphic design professionals.

That was the most gorgeous, over the top, crazy, fun party venue ever!!!!!!! The compliments came FLOODING in! The single biggest compliment was that the room looked AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, they LOVED the big top, but lots of compliments were about the balloons! The signage was great and the napkins were PERFECT, just as we planned. My son was absolutely speechless when he stepped in the room. Thank you SOOOO much for making his special day OVER THE TOP.
